An Invitation-Only Roundtable Discussion, hosted by Wi-Fi Alliance, exploring Wi-Fi's role as part of the EU connectivity strategy

Achieving the ambitious goals of Europe’s Digital Decade requires a holistic and balanced policy approach that fully recognizes the diversity of access technologies essential for connecting citizens and businesses. This roundtable brings together key stakeholders to explore how best to optimize the European connectivity mix, ensuring that all technologies, are leveraged effectively.

Whilst public investment and policy focus often centre on the deployment of fixed-line fibre and licensed mobile infrastructure, the discussion will explore the critical role that Wi-Fi and other local access solutions play within the broader digital landscape. Through dialogue involving policymakers, consumer representatives, technology leaders, and business users, the session will explore the current state of Europe’s connectivity environment and identify practical policy and regulatory steps to ensure that all technologies can work together to deliver a high-quality, reliable, and inclusive digital experience for every European.

Attendance to the roundtable is on an application basis, and is strictly limited. You will be contacted by one of the event team to inform you whether your application has been successful.
